2013 Legislative Interns
Since 1972, the Tennessee Legislative Intern Program has placed promising undergraduate and graduate students with Tennessee General Assembly legislators to gain hands-on experience in government.
The University of Tennessee selects students from its Knoxville, Martin and Chattanooga campuses based on their academic merit and potential for professional growth. This year, 18 high-performing students were selected to serve during the 2013 legislative session.
During their time in Nashville, interns will gain experience through bill analysis, constituent work and issue research. Learn more about the Tennessee Legislative Intern program here.
The University of Tennessee is proud of these future leaders and their achievements. Read brief profiles of this year’s interns below, or download a copy of the printed brochure here.
