UT Audit and Effectiveness and Efficiency for the Future Committees to Meet May 8 in Knoxville

KNOXVILLE -- The University of Tennessee Board of Trustees' Audit Committee and Committee on Effectiveness and Efficiency for the Future will meet Tuesday, May 8, in Knoxville.

The Audit Committee meeting will be held at 1 p.m. EDT, and the Committee on Effectiveness and Efficiency for the Future meeting will follow at 3 p.m. EDT. Both meetings will be held in the eighth floor conference room in Andy Holt Tower.

Audit Committee agenda items include:

  • State audit update
  • Financial statements for the university's athletic departments
  • Audit report on the University of Tennessee Foundation
  • Audit report on the University of Tennessee Research Foundation
  • Audit report on the University of Chattanooga Foundation
  • Audit report on UTMG
  • Audit report on UT Le Bonheur Pediatric Specialists
  • Update on institutional compliance
  • 2011 annual report from Internal Audit
  • Audit staffing update
  • 2012 audit plan

Committee on Effectiveness and Efficiency for the Future agenda items include:

  • UT Martin process improvements
  • Treasurer's office initiatives
  • Funding update
