UT Committees, Foundation to Meet Sept. 17 in Knoxville

KNOXVILLE –- Two committees of the University of Tennessee Board of Trustees and the UT Foundation Board of Directors and Officers will meet Friday, Sept. 17, in Knoxville.

The Committee on Effectiveness and Efficiency for the Future will meet at 11 a.m., and the Foundations Study Committee will meet at 1:30 p.m. The UT Foundation board will meet at 3 p.m.

All three meetings will be held in the 8th Floor Conference Room of Andy Holt Tower at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.

Agenda items for the Committee on Effectiveness and Efficiency for the Future include:

  • Facilities planning and capital maintenance review
  • UT Knoxville initiatives
  • Energy management presentation
  • Human Resources review of employee's performance procedures
  • Update on state revenues and appropriations
  • Summary of appropriations reductions and effectiveness and efficiency savings

Agenda items for the Foundations Study Committee include:

  • Overview of the committee's work
  • Review of the draft committee report
  • Review of the proposed affiliation agreement

Agenda items for the UT Foundation board include:

  • Review of the draft Foundations Study Committee report
  • Review of the proposed affiliation agreement
