Boundary Exercise: Interactive exercise to get people thinking and talking about the issue and UT’s role in addressing this epidemic.

Working Lunch with Introductions: Participants will introduce themselves and explain their roles in the opioid crisis in Tennessee. A short keynote will be provided by Miss Tennessee 2017 Caty Davis, who will give a personal perspective of the real cost of the opioid epidemic to her family.

Visioning Exercise: Combine ideas to inform a plan for the development of a regional summit in the spring of 2019. The overarching goal is to lead to actionable initiatives and proposals to help reverse this national epidemic.

In-House Assignment: To help inform the invitation and speaker list, each participant will be asked to provide a list of potential invitees and participants for the spring opioid summit.
