Creating a Sustainable Future

UT has made great strides this year to more effectively and efficiently use its resources, even as it has made a significant impact on the state’s economy and quality of life. Efficiency measures recommended by UT System President Joe DiPietro’s budget advisory group in 2015 have helped cut a projected $377 million budget gap over the next decade by nearly $130 million. Closing this gap is a commitment President DiPietro has made to ensure sustainable funding and the University’s future.
