The Real Property office is responsible for coordinating, underwriting, processing, analyzing, evaluating and preparing real property items for presentation to the University’s Board of Trustees and the State Building Commission regarding acquisitions, disposals, leases and easements.

The office also assists in the facilitation of the University’s gift property program, tracks real property transactions through the University and State approval process, administers and procures due diligence services and contractors for real property transactions, insures adherence to real property policies and procedures, assures maintenance of real property inventory and coordinates real property projects both within and outside of the Campus Master Plan for Knoxville, Chattanooga, Memphis, Martin and Space Institute campuses.
