The Complete College Tennessee Act of 2010
The Complete College Tennessee Act of 2010 revises provisions of present law governing higher education in this state. The 2010 legislation calls for the development of:
- a statewide master plan for future development of public higher education in the state,
- polices and formulae or guidelines for fair and equitable distribution and use of public funds that are consistent with and further the goals of the statewide master plan, and
- a university tract program within the University of Tennessee and the Tennessee board of regents systems consisting of 60 hours of instruction that can be transferred and applied toward the requirements for a bachelor’s degree at the public universities.
