UT’s Learning Hub

The Knowledge and Training Excellence platform, also known as K@TE (pronounced “Kate”) is UT’s employee-based learning management system for training and professional development.

K@TE also provides learning and development opportunities to those external to the University through the Institute for Public Service and the Institute of Agriculture.

Child Protection Training

UT is committed to providing a safe environment for minors participating in camps, educational programs and events like 4-H. Under UT policy, all designated program directors and covered adults must complete training every two years on preventing, recognizing and reporting child abuse.

This training is also available to non-employees (including volunteers, contractors, students, student workers and grad students). Be sure to know the name of your program/program affiliation, departmental account number and the program coordinator’s name.
