Statement from Board of Trustees Chair John Compton

“During our confirmation hearings, the newly-elected Board of Trustees heard the displeasure from members of the Tennessee General Assembly concerning UT Knoxville’s Sex Week. As Chair of the Board, I endorse the Comptroller’s review and fully agree with President Boyd and the actions he and his team are taking to resolve this unfortunate distraction. The Board will discuss the report and consider a policy change at its meeting on March 1.”
