UT System Administration HR, EOD presents the Conference for Women’s Leadership (CWL) to address the professional development needs of UT women. The conference provides sessions on topics relevant to women at varying stages on the leadership journey, from emerging leaders to women in advanced leadership roles. Women of all leadership levels are welcome to register—whether an aspiring leader or a seasoned professional.

This year’s theme, “You Are the Author,” highlights leading with resilience, empowerment, and growth. CWL will feature engaging breakouts, a dynamic leadership panel, and intentional connection opportunities, with four session tracks to choose from:

  • Leading with Purpose
  • Personal Growth
  • Human-Centered Leadership

Event Details

Price: $250 (via internal transfer)

  • The Career Development Fund (CDF) provides the opportunity for non-exempt employees to participate in job- and career-related development activities. The fund will provide up to $150 per recipient during each fiscal year. Apply at least 3 weeks prior to the conference. Employees can find the CDF application and guidelines on the EEOD intranet.

Donation Drive – Street Hope TN

We will be collecting donations for Street Hope TN throughout the conference. Street Hope TN works to eliminate the sexual exploitation and trafficking of children in Tennessee and provides safe environments to foster hope and healing. Garland Oaks, a program of Street Hope TN, is one of the first safe homes in Tennessee for 12-17-year-old girls rescued from domestic minor sex trafficking (DMST). The Hive is Garland Oaks’ in-house boutique where residents earn tokens to spend how they wish every week in the boutique. We are collecting items to stock the boutique.
