About Our Office

With teams in Nashville, Washington, D.C., and communities across Tennessee, GEPS brings together government relations, economic development and public service to advance the university’s priorities and strengthen its impact statewide. The division builds partnerships with government officials, agencies, economic development organizations and businesses to attract investment, create jobs and advance research opportunities. Through the UT Institute for Public Service and its statewide presence, the Division also provides training, technical assistance and expertise to governments, businesses and industries, connecting UT’s resources with the needs of Tennessee communities.
