Request to Appear Before the Board
In conjunction with regular meetings of the Board of Trustees, an opportunity will be provided for members of the University community and the general public to address the Board or a committee of the Board concerning items on the meeting agenda or other issues germane to the responsibilities of the Board. The agenda for committee and Board meetings will be published on the Board website approximately one week prior to the meeting.
The Board’s Standing Rule Governing Requests to Address the Board of Trustees (Chapter 1720-01-16) describes the procedures, including registration process, permissible topics, and other terms and conditions applicable to addressing the Board. The Board will not hear speakers on grievances or appeals specific to individual students or employees or on pending or threatened litigation involving the University or University officials.
