KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Three University of Tennessee campuses—UT Knoxville, UT Martin and the UT Health Science Center—have been selected by the Tennessee Higher Education Commission (THEC) to receive Rural Health Care Pathways Expansion Grants, designed to address critical healthcare workforce shortages in rural communities across the state.
A special meeting of the University of Tennessee Board of Trustees will be held at 9 a.m. EDT/8 a.m. CDT on May 16, with members participating virtually.
