Meeting for the first time at the new UT Southern campus, the University of Tennessee Board of Trustees approved a zero percent tuition increase for the UT Health Science Center (UTHSC) for FY 2022-23.
Lybrand, currently associate vice chancellor for treasury at the University of North Texas System, was selected following a national search. The UT Board of Trustees will consider Lybrand’s appointment during its Feb. 25 meeting.
The UT Board of Trustees Executive Committee met Friday morning and received a year-end review of significant achievements from UT System President Randy Boyd.
Trustees approved UT System President Randy Boyd’s recommendation that Peter F. Buckley be appointed as the next chancellor of UTHSC. Buckley’s appointment is effective Feb. 1, 2022.
