The UT Board of Trustees will conduct rulemaking hearings on Oct. 23, starting at 8:30 a.m. EDT. Oral and written comments on proposed rules applying to all campuses will be received at the public hearings.
Martin Methodist College and the University of Tennessee signed a nonbinding letter of intent today, the first step in discussions for the small, 150-year-old, private college to join the UT System.
In a special called meeting, the Board of Trustees approved changes to the campuses’ student codes of conduct and changes to a policy applicable to faculty to comply with new Title IX regulations released by the U.S. Department of Education in May.
